TransE-Mail - August 2015
Natasa's Notes

Fellow alumni and friends,

Today we welcome the Class of 2019 to campus as they move in for August Term and the start of their Transylvania experience. I wish for them the world of opportunities and hope they will soon know the power of Transylvania connections.

It has been a busy and exciting summer on campus! As you can see from the picture above, the much anticipated transformation of Haupt Plaza is nearing completion. The new Alumni Plaza will be an inviting space in the heart of our campus. Check the events schedule on the right for information on the Alumni Plaza Dedication in October. With the construction of the first of three new residence halls nearing the end, the renovation of the interior of the Library and the impending work on Haupt Humanities, this truly is an exciting time of renewal for our alma mater. To keep up with all the building projects at Transylvania, go to and follow #TransyBuilds on various social media platforms.

Next weekend we are hosting the Reunion Kick-Off event for all the 5-year reunion classes from 5th through the 50th. If your class year ends in a "1" or a "6" and you'd like to help with the reunion planning and/or contacting classmates to encourage their participation, register here or simply reply to my email. I hope you'll get involved!

As you know, we strive to keep our alumni connected to Transylvania and each other. In order to do this to the best of our ability, Transylvania has authorized Publishing Concepts (PCI) to launch a project to update contact information for all Transylvania alumni and produce the 2016 Alumni Directory. Soon you'll begin to receive communication from PCI asking you to call and verify/update your information. Please respond promptly. For FAQs regarding the 2016 directory project, go here. Thank you for your support of this important project!

Yours in Transy Spirit,
